The Nintendo game has been taking the world by storm and those playing the game through their phones are meeting up to catch some Pokemon.

Mike Walton, who is hosting the event alongside Tom and Maria Walton, said: “We will have a walk around town, the parks, the Docks and go for a pint after.

“If people want to dress up they can but please make sure you have weather appropriate gear on.”

Anyone under 13 needs to bring a parent or guardian, or a signed letter giving consent for them to attend.

It’s free to take part and starts from Winckley Square at 2pm on Saturday 30 July. You can register your attendance through the Facebook event.
