In preparation the young musicians will partake in eight days of rehearsals at Rossall School, Lancashire, exploring material from their latest repertoire with the support of top class music tutors and pastoral care staff.

The NCO performances are renowned for their intensity, vivacity and commitment – but above all for their professionalism.

Hoping to inspire music lovers of all ages, the programme will include a variety of stirring classical pieces, such as Ravel’s arrangement of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Bernstein’s Overture to Candide and Márquez’s ferocious Conga del Fuego Nuevo.
