A message of peace was passed around Preston’s Flag Market on Saturday.
AdvertisementOrganised in three weeks in response to various to hate crime reports across the UK following the Referendum result Feast for Peace was a colourful and tasty celebration.
Kay Johnson from the group who organised the event said they estimated they had fed around 1,000 people during the day.
Alongside the food stalls the Ribble Steam Railway brought a steam engine to the party.
Dancing and songs were performed from a stage on the Flag Market.
