Sunday night dinner didn’t end well in this house Pic: Shane King

Two fire crews were called to a house in Ashton-on-Ribble during Sunday night.

A cooker caught fire at the property in Alert Street.

Crews from Preston Fire Station attended and put out the flames using a dry powder extinguisher.

No one was hurt in the fire, which took place around 10.30pm.
