Ribbleton man charged after paramedic attacked in Preston

A paramedic has been attacked in Ribbleton after trying to help a man found collapsed in the road.

Preston Police were called after a 23-year-old man was found unconscious shortly after midnight on Tuesday 14 June.

After the paramedics roused the man he allegedly punched the medic trying to help him in Miller Road.

The man, from Ribbleton, has been charged with common assault and battery. He has been bailed to attend court in July.
