Hundreds of women made their way through Lostock Hall on a balmy June night to raise money for a Preston hospice.

More than 800 people during Saturday (4 June) made their way on the route which started and ended in the St Catherine’s Hospice grounds.
A team of walkers from Lancashire County Council did the walk in memory of Max Neill, who blogged about his stay in the hospice before his death earlier this year.
The hospice said it was hoping to raise around £100,000 from the event, which was running for a 10th consecutive year.
