Simon Rigby’s latest venture in Preston is taking shape, and it is not at the Guild Hall.Advertisement
The multi-millionaire is expanding his betting firm Betsid by taking over what used to be Taylor Made in Friargate.
At the bottom end of Friargate by the Wetherspoons there is refurbishment work ongoing.
Operations manager for Betsid Paul Kirkby said they were on track to open on Wednesday 8 June.
He said three new staff were being hired as a result of the opening.
Mr Rigby bought the Guild Hall in summer 2014 and has invested in opening new food and drink outlets, now four in total, in the Guild Hall Arcade.
