Avenham and Miller Parks have received the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence.
This means the parks have retained a four of five rating for more than 12 months and have a minimum number of reviews.
Cabinet member for community and environment councillor Robert Boswell said: “This is a fantastic achievement for two of Preston’s outstanding parks. On behalf of the council and the hardworking parks team, I would like to thank members of the public for the TripAdvisor reviews that has led to this recognition.”

The award follows the retention of the green flag status for the parks, along with a number of others in the city.
Vice president of industry marketing at TripAdvisor Heather Leisman said: “With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours businesses and attractions that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers.
“This recognition helps visitors identify and feel more confident in their decisions of where to spend their leisure time.”
