The opening of a community cinema in Ingol has been delayed as it needs more equipment.
AdvertisementTanterton Village Centre is due to become a picture house with screenings on Saturdays for families.
It received £2,000 in February to start showing films for the community.
However, trustee Bill Shannon, said the plans were on hold until all the kit could be secured.
He said: “We want to make sure we can show the films in the best quality.
“As I am sure many people can appreciate we need to ensure there’s the right equipment in the community centre.
“We’re working hard to get this sorted and I hope we’ll be able to have the films up and running for the summer.”
