One of the empty units on the Lancaster Road side, next to the former Turkish Baths, is being converted.

Health Shack is due to open in the coming months offering sit down meals and takeaway food.

As part of the work they are trying to maintain the tiling from the Turkish Baths.

The new cafe follows the opening of Baluga Bar and Kitchen round the Fishergate side of the Arcade, and work is continuing on converting the top floors of the listed building into apartments, a roof terrace and a restaurant.
