Masjid Salaam in Fulwood is running a Ramadhan Awareness Exhibition.

The Watling Street Road mosque saw hundreds of people visit during an open day in April.

Chairman of the mosques trustees Ayyub Vali Bux said: “We hope this exhibition will help people understand what Ramadhan means for Muslims. I would recommend it to everyone especially employers, teachers and anyone who wants to know more about Islam and Muslims in the UK.”

The exhibition is to cover Islamic art through to the Quran, science and the history of Ramadhan.

Doors open at the mosque from 10am on Sunday 22 May until 1pm, and then an afternoon session from 2.30pm to 7pm. The event is free to attend and no registration is required.
