Fabio’s Italian is in the parade of shops at the bottom of Fishergate Hill

A Preston takeaway is bidding to be able to serve alcohol.

Fabio Real Italian at the corner of Fishergate Hill and Broadgate wants to be able to serve you a Peroni with your pasta.

The takeaway has applied to serve alcohol from 5pm to 10.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 4pm to 10.30pm on Sundays.

Its current hours of opening are 12noon to 11pm every day.

Owned by father and son duo Alberto and Fabio they have more than 40 years experience in the trade.
