Preston North End take on East Lancashire rivals Burnley tonight at Deepdale.
The match is of little consequence to the Lilywhites who have seen their play-off hopes fade over recent weeks but the chance to put a dent in the promotion hopes of Burnley should be motivation enough for Simon Grayson’s men.
A late fightback in midweek away at Birmingham City suggests that they’re not thinking about a summer holiday just yet.
What channel is it on?
Sky Sports 1 will host the game with coverage starting at 7pm.
Has the game sold out?
You can still get tickets online for the derby.
Which pubs in Preston have Sky Sports?
The Adelphi, O’Neills, Sun Hotel, Roper Hall, Old Black Bull, New Britannia Inn, The Moorbrook, Fishers, Hogarths and Yates all have Sky Sports.
Team News?
Anders Lindegaard and Mark Vermijl are both doubts with Chris Kirkland and Calum Woods likely to step in.
Lucas Jutkiewicz is the only absentee for Burnley.
Last meeting?
Preston won 2-0 at Turf Moor back in December. Fans will remember a lunchtime kick off from December 2003 which saw the game end 5-3 thanks to a Ricardo Fuller hat-trick.
Anyway, in the league, Burnley have only lost twice since then and not at all since December.
