Watch as the Royal Scot steams into Preston

Steamheads got a treat on Saturday night as the Royal Scot pulled into Preston.

Around 75 steam engine fans were on the platform at Preston Station to greet her.

Gary Brooks captured this footage of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway class locomotive pulling in.

Introduced in 1927 and designed by Sir Henry Fowler, they were withdrawn between 1962 and 1965.

Only two of the 70 Royal Scots have been preserved, the 6100 Royal Scot and the 6115 Scots Guardsman.
