Villa Italian is the latest of Simon Rigby’s ventures in the Guild Hall.

Pictures released via Twitter show how the restaurant, in what was the Graham’s bodycare shop facing into Lancaster Road, is to look.

It will be the second Villa Italian, as Mr Rigby already operates one out at Kirkham just off the M55.

Work on the restaurant has begun and it is due to open in June.

So far in the Guild Hall arcade there’s been a new tapas restaurant, coffee shop and cocktail bar put in.

Planning permission was granted in September 2014 for major changes to the entrance way, including a giant screen and escalators up to the first floor.
