Preston Bus has announced timetable changes to three services serving Preston city centre which are now to run until after midnight.
More frequent late-night services have been introduced to ‘make it cheaper and easier to enjoy an evening out in Preston’.
A statement from the firm said: “Late buses will operate Friday evening on services 16, 23 and 35 until well after midnight. Please remember that any day or week tickets expiring today are valid on the services after midnight.”

The move comes after the bus operator scrapped a number of routes following the cut in subsidy from Lancashire County Council.
Preston Bus also took the commercial decision to remove the Orbit bus service, blaming a cutback in grant from the city council and also the amount of congestion on the roads in the city. Thousands of people signed a petition calling for the Orbit to be reintroduced.
It has also expanded to takeover a route to Skipton, serving rural parts of Preston.
