Police are appealing for information after a driver suffered serious injuries on Saturday morning.
AdvertisementThe Guild Way flyover was closed for more than an hour after the collision between a Jaguar and a Peugeot van.
The driver of the Jaguar suffered a bleed on the brain and a fractured shoulder. He is now in a stable condition.
Preston Police closed the slip road from Guild Way down to West Strand after the incident at 8.25am.
The driver of the black Jaguar XKR was taken to Royal Preston Hospital. The van driver suffered minor injuries.
Sergeant Robert Gomery, of the Lancashire Roads Policing Unit, said: “This was a nasty collision which has left both drivers with injuries.
“We are now urging anybody who witnessed the crash, or has information that could help us piece together what happened, to get in touch.”
