Chris Boardman MBE won Team GB’s first cycling gold medal in 72 years at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

Since then he’s gone on to win stages of the Tour de France and set numerous world record, which still stand to this day.

Boardman will discuss stories from his autobiography Triumphs and Turbulence.

The event, which takes place on Tuesday 21 June from 7pm at the Harrington Lecture Theatre on the University of Central Lancashire campus, is part of the university’s Lancashire Science Festival.
