One city photographer decided to find out with a new lens on his camera.

John Drake, 28, took many landmarks from around Preston and applied the crystal ball effect.

He said: “I’ve always loved photograph and I had seen some crystal ball photos online and thought it would be great to use them to do portraits of the city.

“It is pretty tricky to do and it’s been great to learn a new skill while using my camera.”
