Run Preston returns in September with the 10k and 5k runs through the city.
All the runs take place on Sunday 25 September.
The 5k is first with a start time from the Covered Market of 9am.
The 10k sets off from 10.15am and is followed by a 2k run and walk at 1pm, which sets off from Avenham Park.
How much is it?
The 5k is £8 for UK Athletics Club Runners, £10 for everyone else.
For the 10k it is £14 for UK club runners and £16 for everyone else.
The Fun Run is £5 for adults and £3 per kid
How old do you have to be?
Minimum age for the 5k is 11 and for the 10k it is 15.
What’s the route?
For the 5k it is a charge through the city centre down into Avenham Park, across the Old Tram Bridge and then along the side of the Ribble down to Penwortham bridge. Crossing back it comes through Miller Park, up the BIG hill and into Winckley Square before finishing at the Flag Market.
The 10k is a single lap, going into Avenham Park and down to the London Road bridge, crossing over and coming down the side of the Ribble, looping back down the Old Tram Bridge route and then coming back to follow the rest of the 5k route.
You can sign up via the Run Preston website, and can run for a charity of your choice.
