Ringway collision sees motorcyclist hurt near Preston Prison

Police closed off part of the Ringway on Thursday night after a motorbike and car collided.

A female rider of a blue Kawasaki was attended to by emergency services near Preston Prison.

Bystanders said the Vauxhall Corsa involve was a ‘write off’ following the incident shortly after 8pm.

Four police cars were in attendance, along with an ambulance.

The motorcyclist was seen walking to a stretcher, and Preston Police said she had sustained two broken wrists.
