A 30-year-old man has been arrested after a police appeal following two women being touched inappropriately in Fulwood.

The man, from Preston, was arrested on Tuesday by Preston Police on suspicion of sexual assault.

He remains in custody. It follows two incidents in the Garstang Road area of Fulwood.

On both occasions a man on a bike was reported to have touched the bottoms of women as they walked along the road.
