Grange Community Centre targeted by arsonists for third time

Preston firefighters have been called out for a third time to a former community centre.

The Grange Community Centre was set alight on Wednesday evening, following fires on Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening.

Fire crews spent an hour tackling the fire at the building in Hazel Grove.

The Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service aerial platform has been called out to put out the fire in the roof space on Tuesday and again on Wednesday.

The community centre in Ribbleton has been abandoned after Preston City Council could not afford to keep it open.
