A man on a bike is said to have approached a 24-year-old woman as she was walking along Lytham Road.

The incident happened between 7pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 23 February.

The victim was approached from behind and the man grabbed her bottom and cycled away.

A second incident, which police believe involved the same man, saw a 43-year-old woman approached.

She was walking along Garstang Road near the junction with Lytham Road at 1.30pm on Sunday 13 March.

A man on a bike touched the woman’s bottom before riding off.

DS Andy Dixon, of Preston CID said: “These were clearly upsetting incidents for the victims to have experienced and our investigation remains on-going. We are keen to speak to the man pictured in the images in connection with both incidents and if anyone recognises him or has any information about who he might be I would urge them to get in touch.”

The man is described as around 25 years of age, medium build, clean shaven with short dark hair.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting crime reference SA1603348 or alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
