Watch solar farm near Grimsargh being built

An enormous solar farm on the outskirts of Preston is beginning to take shape.

Grimsargh’s solar farm, from TGC Renewables, was approved in July last year.

Stephen Melling sent his drone up to show the scale of the 23.5 hectre site.

The Preston Road site is due to operate for the next 25 years and will provide enough power for 2,500 homes.
