Sherana Hussain was last seen on Sunday evening

A missing Lancashire teenager could be in Preston.

Police are growing concerned for the welfare of Sherana Hussain, 17, who was last seen on Sunday.

The Asian girl, described as being of a slim build, with very long, black hair, was seen at an address on Merchants Landing.

Lancashire Police say she may have been wearing a blue hooded top.

PC Christian Farrar, of Blackburn Police, said: “This is extremely out of character for Sherana and we are becoming increasingly concerned as to her whereabouts.

“She is vulnerable because of her age and we would urge anybody who has seen her, or who may have information that could help us find her, to please get in touch.

“We would also appeal to Sherana, if she sees this, to get in touch to let us know she is safe.”
