Plants with a street value estimated to be around £100,000 have been seized by Preston Police.

Officers raided the property in Greenway, off Garstang Road, on Friday lunchtime.

Inspector Paul McLernon said: “You can see the level of effort put into concealing this cannabis farm.

“Chipboard panels were up over the windows and expandale foam to reduce the heat loss.”

We've discovered another cannabis grow in Fulwood today.

There were four rooms in the house which had been converted to grow the drugs plant.

Insp McLernon said they had acted on intelligence from the local community and the property had been rented. No arrests and have been made.

It follows a cannabis farm being uncovered in early December in Manor Avenue, Fulwood.
