Snow has begun to fall in Preston as temperatures continue to plummet.
Up to 3cm of snow is forecast in and around the city throughout Saturday and into Sunday morning.
Snowflakes began to come down shortly after 2pm on Saturday across the city.
Temperatures are expected to stay below freezing over into Sunday morning.

The Met Office is warning of ice and snow for Preston and Lancashire, with the chief forecaster saying it will be part of a narrow strip across the UK which will see snow across the country.
An ice warning for the whole of the UK has been issued with drivers warned to take extra care on the roads overnight.
