Police are continuing to appeal after a car collided with a pensioner on Thursday afternoon in Fulwood.
AdvertisementThe 77-year-old pensioner has suffered serious injuries after the incident at the junction of Watling Street Road and Fulwood Hall Lane.
It took place around 2pm and closed the road for two hours.
The woman, who is from Preston, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with serious leg, arm and head injuries.
The 70-year-old driver of the BMW was uninjured.
Sergeant Adam Dawson said: “Roads policing officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision and the driver is assisting with the enquiries.
“Anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log reference 0687 of December 3.”
