Preston City Wrestling has announced it is to take over Preston Guild Hall for a charity show.

The now annual Tribute to the Troops as part of Armed Forces Day is moving inside off the Flag Market.

WWE legend Rob Van Dam is the headline act for the Preston-based wrestling outfit.

They’ve become a staple of armed forces day entertainment with their high-flying antics.

Tickets are free and thousands of wrestling fans are expected inside the arena on Saturday 25 June.

The show is a three-hour spectacular and although it is free (apart from a £2 booking fee) there is a registration via the Guild Hall website.
