A Leyland man with links to the Preston area is being hunted after being charged with a number of offences.
AdvertisementLee Ashton, 20, is wanted following an incident on Thursday 26 November when a 17-year-old girl reported being held against her will in the Leyland area for several hours.
Lancashire Police say Ashton, who is described as white, 5’4″, with green eyes and dark brown hair, could be in the Preston area.
He failed to ppear at Preston Crown Court after he was charged with making off without payment, taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, failing to stop after an accident, driving without insurance and driving without a licence in relation to an incident in Leyland on 26th July where a Volkswagen Golf was taken from an address on Broadfield Drive, Leyland. He is also wanted for breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order.
PS Mark Douglas from Leyland Police said: “Our enquiries are on-going to find Ashton and I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to contact us.
“I would also remind anyone who might be helping Ashton to evade us that they are committing a criminal offence and I would urge them to come forward as soon as possible with any information on his whereabouts.”
