The dangers of drink driving have been highlighted in a new safety video made by a Prestonian.

Dale Green, 57, and his son made the clip ahead of the festive season.

Preston Police regularly step up breathalysing during the Christmas party period and Dale thought he’d also get the message across.

He said: “I decided I wanted to shoot a short film that was to the point about drink driving and what effect it could have on a family.

“In this case it leaves the viewer wondering who was the victim, the little girl or the parents.

“We kept it short so hopefully as it is not too long people would watch it all.”

The clip was filmed in Lowther Gardens in Lytham as the Preston weather was too bad to film in Haslam Park – close to Dale’s home in Lea.
