Preston’s board game café Dice and Donuts opened its doors for a pre-launch last night.

The proud owner, Millie Lavelle expressed her joy with the “tremendous support” but that “it still doesn’t feel real.”
There are games old and new suitable for everybody no matter what age. The team have a vast knowledge of all the games available at the café and cannot wait to start sharing their enthusiasm as well as introducing people to something different.
“I don’t want to force lots of games in people’s faces, it’s much more fun when you discover them yourself,” Millie added.
“At the end of the day it’s just board games, where everybody gets together, puts the phones and laptops away and create memories.”
The grand opening is at 11am on Thursday November 19 with John Gilmore from BBC Lancashire attending to cut the ribbon.
“Just come along and try something new. It’s not as weird as you might think.”
