An opening date has been set for when a Danish design shop opens in Preston.
AdvertisementKnown as the posh pound shop Tiger is working on renovating units in the St George’s Shopping Centre.
Up to 14 jobs are to be created in the 3,000 square foot shop on the first floor on the Fishergate side of the shopping complex.
Vickie Strahan, the store manager of Tiger Preston, said: “Come and explore with us at Tiger for an amazingly refreshing Christmas shopping experience. With our quirky designs and fun environment, we are sure you will find something you love. We really can’t wait to meet you.”
The shop is due to open on Thursday 26 November and is the third opening in quick succession in the shopping centre following Patisserie Valerie and The Entertainer.
General manager of St George’s Shopping Centre Andrew Stringer said: “Tiger is another completely new brand to St George’s and the city and we look forward to the new store opening in time for Christmas.
“It’s completely different to anything else we have in the centre and is the latest in a number of national chains which have picked Preston and St George’s for their first Lancashire store.
“The product range on offer is vast with something for everyone and I’m sure shoppers will be impressed by what they will find.”
