Kavana is to perform at Preston Christmas lights switch on

Pop star from the 90s Kavana has been announced as another act to play Preston’s Christmas Lights switch on.

He joins headliner Alesha Dixon for the Fishergate lights event on Saturday 14 November.

Also performing will be Bailey McConnell who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014.

Phoenix Nights star Archie Kelly and the cast of the Guild Hall’s panto Sleeping Beauty have also joined the bill.

Preston’s Business Improvement District who organise the switch on have announced Preston Bus is making all services into the city centre free between 4pm and 5pm on the day.

The lights switch on begins from 5.30pm and lasts until 7.45pm at its new location by the Fishergate Shopping Centre.
