Market Hall Car Park

Free parking in the run up to Christmas in Preston city centre has been announced.

A number of city car parks will drop their charges on certain days and nights.

Here’s when they are free:

St George’s Shopping Centre car park

Wednesday 2 December and Thursday 3 December from 4pm for a maximum of three hours

Sunday 6, 13 and 20 December for a maximum of three hours

Monday 14 December up to an including Wednesday 23 December for a maximum of three hours

Fishergate Shopping Centre

Every Wednesday and Thursday after 5pm from Wednesday 11 November, up to Christmas Eve

Market Hall car park

Wednesday and Thursdays after 3pm from Wednesday 2 December and Thursday 3 December up to and including Christmas Eve

Sunday 6, 13, 20 December all day

Arthur Street car park, near County Hall

Saturdays and Sundays between 8am and 5pm from Saturday 14 November until Christmas Eve

Free parking for Christmas has been organised by the Preston Business Improvement District.
