Gavin Phythian

Police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to following the theft of a Mercedes on the outskirts of Preston.

Gavin Phythian, 26, of no fixed abode, is suspected of being involved in a burglary in Chain House Lane, Whitestake.

The incident took place in the early hours of Monday 10 August.

The Mercedes was stolen and later found crashed and abandoned in a field off the A674 in Hoghton.

Phythian is known to have links to Middleton in Manchester.
