A new supermarket could be built off Blackpool Road as part of the plan for a car showroom.
AdvertisementPerry’s motor village is set to relocate to a new Bluebell Way showroom and a major redevelopment of their current premises.
A new gym and another retail outlet would be created along with 195 parking spaces.
Plans drawn up by NW-Architects state: “The proposed development is well located close to the town centre with excellent pedestrian and vehicle links and will provide an exciting and vibrant new commercial development to add to the existing retail infrastructure already present within the local area.
“The proposal will have a positive impact on this area of Preston and provide further choice for consumers. The development will deliver buildings of visual interest and modern design sympathetic to the local vernacular and style of the surrounding area.”
The full plans are available to view on the city council website.
