Weekly photography masterclasses are to be held from September until May to learn the basics of a camera and to sharpen skills to capture that perfect picture.
AdvertisementThe Preston Photographic Society will be hosting the workshops each Thursday at Fulwood Conservative Club on Blackpool Road, Preston and anyone is invited along to the opening night of the season this week.
The event begins at 7.30pm on September 3 and all levels of ability are welcome.
Tea and coffee will be available each week for a small fee, with competitions being held and the chance to browse some high quality images before trying it out for yourself.
There is also the chance to engage in educational lectures and photo walks.
Visitors who aren’t sure if the sessions are right for them are invited to participate in up to three before committing to join.
Preston Photographic Society is a non-profit organisation and members range from absolute beginners to the more advanced photographer.
