The Greg Spero Quartet will return to The New Continental this Sunday (September 13).

TheyEatCulture will bring one of the most recongisable bands in the modern jazz scene to Preston once again.

Chicago’s Greg Spero was winner of the 2013 Chicago Music Award for Best Jazz Entertainer. He has also produced tracks for hip-hop giants like Mos Def.

The quartet is completed by Roz Sluman on saxophone, John Pope on bass and Russ Morgan on drums.

Although their influences are obviously heavily jazz-based, Spero finds great inspiration in dance music produced in this part of the world.

All of this has resulted in Spero becoming one of the most exciting jazz musicians of modern times.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are available here for £10.
