Ribbleton teenager charged in connection with Preston city centre fight

A Preston teenager has been charged by police following a fight in the city centre.

The incident on Saturday 6 June saw a group of men fighting with a group of teenagers in Friargate.

The 16-year-old boy from Ribbleton has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear at Preston Youth Court on Tuesday 22 September.

Two other teenage boys, aged 14 and 16, who had been bailed in connection with the incident will not face any charges.
