A restaurant and takeaway in Deepdale looks set to expand into a charity shop next door.
AdvertisementMarco and Carl, which specialises in handcrafted burgers and pizzas, has applied for permission to double the size of its restaurant at Deepdale Pavillions.
Just off Deepdale Road the burger house has been gathering a strong reputation for quality meat and offering Halal burgers and steaks/
Owner Erum Ayyub has tabled plans via Bramley Pate and Partners to convert the Ummah Welafre Trust charity shop.
There would be no change in the Marco and Carl opening hours from 9.30am to 10.30pm every day. One additional full-time job would be created by the expansion.
Marco and Carl currently averages three and a half stars on TripAdvisor.
