Fun and games has been the order of the day in the Flag Market throughout the weekend.

The damp weather didn’t stop Prestonians having fun with giant games and puzzles.

A giant jenga set was set up along with a make-shift beach to keep the kids entertained.

Plenty of colourful characters were milling around in the city centre for the Preston Comic Con in the Guild Hall as Paul Melling snapped them.

The event attracted thousands of comic and sci-fi fans to meet some of their heroes from the big and small screen.

Preston also attempted to reclaim the parched peas eating world record, but fell just short.
