Jason Rawsterne has joined Freshfield as a digital developer

Marketing communications consultancy Freshfield has strengthened its digital team with the appointment of Jason Rawsterne.

Jason, who has over 15 years’ experience of digital development and advising companies on technical matters, joins the Preston-based firm as a digital developer.

He previously ran his own digital consultancy as a sole trader.

The 38-year-old, from Wigan, will work within Freshfield’s digital team helping clients on website development projects, communications campaigns and search strategies.

Simon Turner, managing director at Freshfield, said: “Jason not only has the relevant technical skills but he has an ability to articulate technical subjects in a marketing and commercial context. He’s a strong addition to the team.

“Our digital service works hand in hand with all our disciplines; advisory, PR and content; and design, and as we grow our portfolio, our digital service will naturally grow with it. We have some really exciting projects on the books.”

Freshfield, based in Winckley Square, Preston, employs 18 staff. It has clients in a range of sectors, primarily in professional and financial services, built environment, retail and leisure, advanced industries, education, healthcare and the public sector.
