The Harris Museum and Art Gallery will be the backdrop for Revival Pic: Tony Worrall

Market traders and artisan stalls will decorate Preston’s Flag Market this weekend for a family day out, under the name Revival.

Dolly Dazzler Presents will be hosting the day which will have a live music stage showcasing local talent including The Pinstripe Pigeon Band and Bingobay. There will also be a pop-up bar, vintage fair, funfair and a chance to have a guided tour around the Harris Museum.

Mural artists will be decorating the Flag Market and for fashion lovers, eclectic fashion will be available throughout the day including fashion and home ware stalls. A special vintage menu will also be served at the Harris cafe.

The free day out is described as “A fantabulous festival atmosphere!” on the group’s Facebook page and returns this month having had successes earlier this year.

P.A.N.D.A will also be around on the day with family activities and a stall hoping to raise awareness of its work surrounding Neurological Disorders.

The event begins at 10am this Saturday August 8 with Janet and Alan Burns kicking off an action packed line-up at 10.45am.
