A new pedestrian crossing could be installed at what a Fulwood councillor says is an accident black spot in his ward.
AdvertisementCouncillor John Potter has received confirmation from Lancashire County Council they are considering a section of Cadley Causeway near St Anthony’s Church is being considered for a new crossing.
Cadley councillor Potter said: “I’m delighted that this first step towards finally getting a crossing has happened. There are more hurdles for us to get over yet but this is welcome news.
“The recent accident involving a young cyclist made it clear that something needed to be done.”
