Missing sex offender Keith Walton could be in Preston according to police.
AdvertisementDetectives are looking for Keith Walton, 51, who was convicted in Manchester in July 2013 for sexually assaulting a woman in Manchester.
Preston Police say Walton is thought to be in the London area but has previously spent time in Preston.
He was released from HMP Wandsworth earlier this month after he was jailed for failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.
He has failed to register his address with police following his release.
He is also wanted for a breach of his licence after failing to keep probation appointments.
He is described as white, 5ft 7in, medium build, with a ruddy complexion, a full beard and dark straggly hair and is described as being unkempt in appearance.
DC Colin Gaskell of the Dangerous and Sexual Offenders Unit said: “Walton could be in the Preston area and we are urging anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
