Preston College officially opened a job centre, designed to help students get onto the job ladder.
AdvertisementThe Job Zone opened at the college’s Fulwood Campus on St. Vincent’s Road and will open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 4.30pm on Friday.
The Job Zone is open to the public as well as college students, allowing them to apply and review job and apprenticeship possibilities as well as CV feedback and interview preparation.
The opening of the centre coincides with the Chancellor announcing three million new apprenticeships by 2020.
Chief Executive of the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Babs Murphy, opened The Job Zone.
