Grade II listed Preston Bus Station’s potential new look will be unveiled from Thursday.
AdvertisementFive shortlisted designs for the £23 million scheme to revamp the building and create a Preston Youth Zone in a smaller bus station go on display.
Prestonians are invited to the Bus Station to see the five designs at an exhibition at stands three and four.
The public will be able to vote for which of the plans they like the best – with their votes counting for 10 per cent of the decision. Voting can be done at the exhibition and also online at the county council’s website.
The exhibition is on from 8am to 12noon and again from 1pm to 4pm on Thursday 16 July and Friday 17 July.
A panel made up of architects, county and city councillors, planning officers and heritage campaigners will make the final decision.
Online voting will run from Thursday 16 July until Tuesday 21 July.
