Longton Live will take place this weekend (July 3 and 4).
This means that Prestonians are even more spoilt for choice with Rockprest and Glastonferret also taking place.
There will be live performances all the way across Longton in a variety of venues.
The Black Bull, The Golden Ball, Orchid Café and loads more will host live music.
Similar events are also hosted in Leyland, Penwortham and Chorley with live music and arts invading typical pubs and other venues you might not expect.
Nigel Stewart, of Creative Network, organises these events.
He said: “Longton is an idyllic village, it’s a beautiful setting and it’s very community orientated, so the Longton Live events have a slightly different feel to the bigger towns like Chorley.
“But even so, this year’s event is bigger than we’ve ever done in Longton before, with more acts and a wider variety of performers, such as a magician and drama groups.”
Wristbands are £5 and can be bought from all the venues involved.
